The best book I’ve read is ‘Elon Musk: Tesla, SpaceX, and the Quest for a Fantastic Future’ by Ashlee Vance. This book provided me with deep insights into Elon Musk’s visionary approach to problem-solving, where challenges are transformed into opportunities. It has been a great source of inspiration for me.

Which passion or pastime will you never let go of?

Reading books has been a lifelong passion that I cherish and will never let go of.

Your dream of a completely different second career?

If I were retiring tomorrow and embarking on a completely different second career, I would pursue my passion for Tai Chi by teaching it.

If money, time, or current responsibilities were not an issue, I would prioritize spending quality time with my parents. They have been my pillars of support throughout my life, and being able to create lasting memories with them would be my greatest joy.

I am currently focused on acquiring new skills that will be beneficial in the future. Understanding that knowledge equips us for specific job roles and wisdom shapes our broader life approach, I am committed to lifelong learning that enhances both these aspects.

Currently, I work in the banking sector, which requires strict adherence to compliance and security standards. Therefore, the technologies we employ must be robust enough to meet these stringent guidelines.

What is technology for you?

For me, technology is a tool that simplifies life and helps us realize the fullest potential of human capabilities.

What are your views on future technology trends?

In my view, future technology will greatly simplify both developers’ and users’ lives. This will be achieved through the increasing use of low-code or no-code platforms, reduced reliance on customized code, and enhanced integration of various systems. We can also expect a significant surge in cloud migration. Furthermore, the shift towards machine learning and data analytics, already evident, is likely to intensify and expand even more aggressively in the future.

Some of my favorite websites are Google.com, ByteByteGo.com, and Udemy. I like Google for its comprehensive search capabilities, ByteByteGo for its detailed insights on software engineering, and Udemy for its wide range of online courses.

My favorite technology product is the Google search engine because it provides answers instantly. My least favorite is the social media site Facebook, as it can distract students from intellectual activities and negatively impact face-to-face interactions.
